This book comprises a portfolio of portraits of over one hundred incredible gowns from the entire era of Christian Dior haute couture, including dresses. Like a Thomas Keller amuse bouche, they’re intended to tantalize the senses and whet the appetite. Photographer Patrick Demarchelier has enlisted some of the worlds most beautiful women - from Gisele Bundchen and Charlize Theron, to Karlie Kloss and Sasha Pivovarova - to model Christian Dior Haute Coutures most stunning creations for a new book entitled 'Dior Couture Patrick Demarchelier'.

Four exterior walls are printed with expansive murals showing the flower-festooned backdrop used for Dior’s spring/summer 2012 haute couture collection show. “Dior Couture Patrick Demarchelier,” which runs through May 28, is housed inside a studio apartment-size box in the middle of the Jewel Court. Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier over the course of one year and featuring designs worn by Gisele Bundchen, Charlize Theron, Karlie Kloss and Sasha. The book has since come to life in a traveling exhibit that has landed at South Coast Plaza after stops in Shanghai, Beijing, Moscow, and Dallas. In 2011, Patrick Demarchelier completed a years-long project photographing luxurious gowns, suits and dresses from Christian Dior haute couture, culminating in a collectible Rizzoli book titled “Dior Couture.”
